Specializing in Play and Family Therapy
Play Therapy
Play Therapy is helpful in allowing a child to express themselves fully through their play.
Benefits of play therapy are improved communication and self esteem; building of emotional regulation and problem solving skills.
Play therapy gives your child a safe space to discover their unique abilities. Your child will learn skills to overcome challenges they are struggling with.
I have received training in traditional Child Centered Play Therapy as well as Prescriptive Play Therapy. I am also certified in Autplay, which is a play therapy and behavioral therapy-based approach for treating autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and developmental disabilities.
As your child's therapist, I offer support, guidance and emotional regulation through the process.
Family Therapy
Family strengths is a major focus of my work with you and your family. Each family I work with is unique in its ability to work through difficult problems and transitions. We will spend time exploring each member's unique strengths as well as the family as a whole. A Family Systems approach focuses on each family member and the role that person plays in the family. As your family therapist, I view each member as a valuable asset. We will work together to improve healthy and effective communication and problem solving for the whole family.
Teens and Adults
Teens and adults are faced with difficult life transitions and require a skillful therapist. By using a strengths based approach, together we can discover your unique assets that can help you to successfully overcome many obstacles. A mindfulness practice can be a powerful pathway toward meeting your therapy goals.
I am also trained in EMDR to assist with making positive changes.

Kids Yoga
Join me for a kids yoga class.
The classes are centered around a theme each month and utilize the Little Flower Yoga elements of Breathe; Connect; Focus; Move and Relax as well as the Kidding Around Yoga format.
